January 14, 2003 Dear Charlie, I hope this E-mail finds you well. Happy New Year. We have not chatted in a while, and I wanted to send you my regards. I am eager to see how life is treating you. Keller Williams Realty should consider themselves blessed to have such a valuable and hardworking gentleman, and an asset to their team. I can't speak enough to your level of professionalism. I can tell you how happy we are that we are finally in our home. It was a bitter sweet ending. I did not know how to react as you witnessed at the closing. It was sort of surreal. I mean I was signing all of those documents and then receiving the keys, and all was just fine in the world at that moment. I was shocked at how quickly and smoothly the day (the closing) went. How could that be, when it was nearly seven months of what seemed like a rollercoaster ride? Imagine the constant wait for the other shoe to drop, ironically coming down to 30 minutes. Please know that I was smiling so big inside. I owe a bit of this defeat to you. You stuck by me, and listened to all of my hemming and hawing. To say that you have big shoulders, is understated. I am sure that you made many sacrifices through the 7 month ordeal. I credit you for being so patient and compassionate, as I do know that you had bigger fish to fry. Your support is what truly drove me, allowing me just enough sanity to hang on one more week, one more month, make that one more call, etc..... etc..... etc....... There were days I wanted to pull my hair out, however there you were, talking me down and away from the edge. You always provided me with annoying words of wisdom, and I say that with so much respect, as it didn't seem like much sense at the time. It was a very stressful process. I was unruly at times and found it difficult to relate to those words and "stories from the road." I realize now that you were so insightful. So I often refused to grasp words, but you did succeed in calming me always. On the other hand, I appreciated your being forthright when you needed to be. You also went above and beyond in advocating for me. You knew this house was mine, when I was convinced it was not meant to be. It seems like so long ago. The first viewing and deposit on the house (May24, 2003) to the closing on December 15, 2003. Everything in between could have left a bitter taste, but it didn't thanks to you. I have learned a great deal during this experience, about myself and especially about people. Perhaps a bit about real estate as well. I will leave that to you though. Midway you made a courageous career move, and I'm so honored, you chose to take me with you and see this sale through. You had several personal and difficult misfortunes yourself Charley, yet still you found the strength and time to carry on with everything. I am grateful for having you in my corner, as it wasn't your duty to be representing me as the buyer, but for representing me as a person and now your friend. In close, I would like to also extend my gratitude for your thoughtful gesture in hosting an open house for my friends and family. I am humbled that you have taken the time out of your busy schedule to organize this, think about food and send out invitations. I hope this is a celebration for you as well. I am glad to be your first closing with Keller Williams. Very Truly Yours, Your Friend, LoriAnn Guyer I

November 13, 2003 Dear Charles, I apologize for just sending a note out to you now, but do you know how crazy it is to move with four kids? We actually did not move into the house until October 12 so that we could do some work to it before we moved in. Bryan and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart for all your help, knowledge and experience in the real estate business. For so long, we looked and looked and nothing, then we were sent to you and the rest is history. It was an honor and a pleasure to have you as our real estate broker and we would like to say Thank You again for all you have done for us. We have given some cards out to freinds and famiily if they are looking or selling to get in touch with you. Charles, thank you again I cannot say it enough we so much appreciate everything you did for us. Yes, the boys finally have there own dog, a black lab, 11 weeks old and his name is Pheonix and he is the joy of the new home. Thank You!! Sincerely, Bryan and Laurie
